Christmas Fun

Congratulations for Heather Hagen’s outstanding identification of 9 of the quiltmakers out of 26 – well ahead of the crowd. It was a challenging field of clever and imaginative interpretation of the flowers and stones of your birth month. This is a sample of the work.IMG_5089

Biennial exhibition almost here!

When: Saturday 2nd November 2019 10 am – 5 pm
Sunday 3rd November 2019 10 am – 4 pm

Venue: St Patrick’s Cathedral Community Hall, 3 Lyons St South,
Ballarat Central

Admission $5.00 Children under 12 free

Traditional, contemporary and art  quilts on display .

Raffle – 3 great prizes, drawn Sunday 3.45 pm. Pop up shop Millrose Cottage.

Committee re-elected for second term

Members unanimously voted for the re-election of all previous office bearers for 2017-2018. Congratulations on your great work and preparedness to lead our group.

New home

Our new venue is the Lions Club Hall at Pennyweight Park, 222 Otway Street, Ballarat East – just past York Street.  The hall is at the rear of the main building.

The monthly meeting is 7.30 pm the 1st Wednesday of the month. Our next meeting will be the 1st March.

Regular sit and sew will be the 4th Saturday. So our first time there will be February 25th, 2017. The second Saturday of the month the hall will be used for special interest groups.
