Congratulations for Heather Hagen’s outstanding identification of 9 of the quiltmakers out of 26 – well ahead of the crowd. It was a challenging field of clever and imaginative interpretation of the flowers and stones of your birth month. This is a sample of the work.

Over 100 member quilts on display, including Art, Contemporary, Traditional and Modern quilts. Raffle, shops, viewers’ choice and display of red & white challenge quilts.
Members unanimously voted for the re-election of all previous office bearers for 2017-2018. Congratulations on your great work and preparedness to lead our group.

Our new venue is the Lions Club Hall at Pennyweight Park, 222 Otway Street, Ballarat East – just past York Street. The hall is at the rear of the main building.
The monthly meeting is 7.30 pm the 1st Wednesday of the month. Our next meeting will be the 1st March.
Regular sit and sew will be the 4th Saturday. So our first time there will be February 25th, 2017. The second Saturday of the month the hall will be used for special interest groups.
Most of you know that the G Place is no longer available for us to meet in. The meeting for February 8th is at The Bunch of Grapes Hotel in Pleasant Street. As soon as information about a venue is available it will be posted here.
