Thank you for visiting our website. Ballaarat quilters was founded in 1996 by a group of  women who wanted to promote the art and craft of quilting in Ballarat.  Ballaarat Quilters Inc. is a not for profit association.

For the past 11 months meetings have been suspended due to Covid 19. The first group meeting is planned for Saturday February13th at the Coghills Creek Hall. the meeting will commence with the AGM at 11.00am. Following this will be a byo everything lunch (no shared food or utensils) This will be followed by our usual Sit’n’Sew afternoon.

Some informal outdoor sew and chat groups are happening in the park, weather permitting, near the Botanical Gardens. For more information about dates and what to bring contact Amanda Baldock on 0401 277 525.

In normal times, we meet on the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 10.30 till 3.30 to sit, sew and chat  together. The  club  meeting is at 11.am on the 2nd Saturday prior to the Sit and Sew.  The venue is the Brown Hill Lions Club Hall at the rear of Pennyweight Park, 222 Otway Street, Ballarat East. This may be subject to change depending on the Covid 19 situation.

Our members have exhibited their work to the community of Ballarat at every second year in Ballarat, as well as having a retreat in rural Victoria every year.
