Quilts of Love

Ballaarat Quilters have been actively involved in the creation of “Quilts of Love” which are given to people who are experiencing grief in a local health service. We have been able to provide quilts to parents of babies that are stillborn, or have died for some reason. Additionally we have been able to provide quilts to families experiencing grief in emergency services.

Guidelines for quilt constructions can be found in the following document  – BQ Policy – Quilts of Love.  Additionally, you can print your own labels for any quilt you make – quilt labels.

    Dear Ballaarat Quilters,
I have been interested in quilting for some time and have made quilts of my own. I have heard about the Baby Love quilts and wanted to do some quilting for a good cause. In the last month I have made two Baby Love quilts and would like to know how to post them to you. They are 24″ x 30″ as instructed on your web page.

Hope to hear from you soon, Sincerely Lizzie.
