Winner of MADE challenge
Congratulations to Jen Mitchell for her winning entry.

The quilt called Freedom’s spirit celebrates a French ancestor, in the Du Rieu line, Esclarmonde de Montesgur, a young noblewoman turned freedom fighter who died at Montesgur, the last stand of the Cathars in 1244. — at Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka.

Donation of quilts to the Emergency Department, Ballarat Health Services
Thanks to Ballaarat Quilters for the donation of quilts to the Emergency Department.
The quilts provide a little comfort to families experiencing a traumatic period when a loved one is brought into the ED following a serious accident or illness.
